1. Program Name
SMS Appointment Scheduler
2. Program Description
The SMS Appointment Scheduler is a text-message-based service that allows you to schedule, confirm, reschedule, and cancel appointments with participating healthcare offices and providers. By opting in (e.g., by texting a designated number or signing up through your provider), you can receive appointment reminders, confirmations, and scheduling links via SMS. Messages are sent only in connection with your appointments and related scheduling activity.
3. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply to all SMS messages sent to and from this program. Charges depend on your wireless plan. We do not charge you directly for messages, but your carrier may. Contact your wireless provider for information about your text and data plan.
4. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies and is event-based. You may receive messages when:
- You start or continue a scheduling conversation
- An appointment is booked, confirmed, or changed
- Reminders are sent before your appointment
- You request help or we need to follow up about your appointment
We do not send marketing or promotional messages. All messages are related to your appointments and scheduling only.
5. Support and Contact Information
For questions, technical issues, or support with this service, please contact the office or provider that gave you access to the SMS Appointment Scheduler. You can also reach out to the administrator of this application.
If you need help while using the service, you can text HELP to the same number you use for scheduling. You will receive instructions on how to get assistance or contact support.
6. Opt-Out Instructions
You can opt out of SMS messages at any time:
- Text STOP to the same number you use for this service. You will receive a confirmation message, and you will no longer receive SMS messages from this program.
- Text HELP at any time to receive help and information, including how to opt out and contact support.
After you text STOP, you will not receive further messages unless you opt in again (e.g., by starting a new scheduling session or signing up again with your provider). Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
7. Consent and Changes
By using the SMS Appointment Scheduler, you agree to these terms. We may update this page from time to time; the "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms. For full legal terms and messaging policies, see also our Privacy Policy and any terms provided by the messaging platform (e.g., Twilio) that we use to deliver messages.
